He's probably best known for his one-man stage show about Harry Truman, but he did drama and television comedy-- I remember watching him in a short-lived tv comedy he did in the early seventies with Cleavon Little called "Temperature's Rising."

He will always be best know to my son, of course, as police Sgt. Ben Peterson, who battled giant ants in the movie Them! The movie inspired what was perhaps the greatest piece of artwork he did in his childhood.
